What is the target group of this further education?
First and foremost, it is employees from banks and asset management companies who want to dive into the topic of "crypto-banking" in greater depth. These are often employees from the customer front. But anyone who is interested in this topic is allowed to participate.
What previous knowledge do I need?
You do not need any previous knowledge of crypto and blockchain. However, basic knowledge of financial markets and asset management is an advantage.
How much does this training cost?
You pay CHF 1950 for the CCFE original (physical presence) and CHF 1250 for the CCFE online (100% remote & digital), which must be paid 30 days before the course begins.
Are there any additional costs?
The course fees include learning material (electronic) and refreshments during breaks. Travel costs (to Zug) and individual lunchtime meals are not included.
Who is admitted to the course?
Anyone from the financial sector and/or from financially related companies who is interested in further training in these areas.
What is SAQ recertification?
An SAQ recertification ensures that knowledge & competence of the bank's consulting services are up to date. Due to constantly changing client needs and regulatory requirements, the certificates must be renewed every three years.
Why do I need an SAQ recertification?
You have completed the SAQ initial certification, for example as a Certified Wealth Management Advisor CWMA. In order to maintain the validity of the certification, a recertification must be conducted every three years.
What are the conditions for the SAQ recertification?
At the time of recertification, you must be employed by a bank; have or be involved in a client book or work independently as a specialist for clients and be in direct contact with them. You can find all detailed information on the SAQ website.
Is there a final examination?
In order to obtain the "Certified Crypto Finance Expert" certificate and the "Recertification SAQ", you must pass a simulated conversation and a multiple choice test on the last day of class.
I do not need SAQ recertification. Can I still attend the course?
Yes, the course is open to everyone! You can attend the course, forego the recertification and receive our certificate "Certified Crypto Finance Expert".
In which languages will the course be held?
In Marc and September the course is held in German. In June and November the CCFE is held in English. However, even for the German course, a basic understandingof English is required.

What are the contents of the course?
You will receive the final timetable a few weeks before the course starts. If you have any questions in advance, please contact us at any time (email@example.com) and you will find initial information here.
Which degree will I receive?
You will receive the "Certified Crypto Finance Expert" certificate issued by us. You will also receive the SAQ recertification bank advisor.
Which institution issues the certificate?
The official certifying institution is financialmedia AG, a financial services company that has been successfully operating on the market for over 10 years. The consortium also consists of the consulting boutique Bravis GmbH, which advises banks on crypto & blockchain issues, the HWZ (Zurich University of Applied Sciences) as an Academy Partner, Finance 2.0 as a Knowledge Partner, and the SAQ (Swiss Quality Association) as an accrediting institution in the area of professional certification.
Where do the course days take place?
The training takes place in the city of Zurich and in Zug. All locations are listed in the timetable.
What are the teaching times?
First day (Wednesday): 16.00 to 20.00
Second day (Thursday): 08.15 to 18.00
Third day (Friday): 08.15 to 18.00
Are there any preparatory tasks?
Yes, in advance you will receive various information for self-study in order to properly prepare for the lessons. The time required for self-study is about four hours.
How do I receive the course materials?
A few weeks before the course starts you will receive the access data for our eLearning platform. On this platform you will find all course documents.
